Marketing & Business Development Executive

Based in the City of London, an award-winning Legal 500 law firm with a diverse workforce and exciting client base, no two days are the same is seeking to hire a number of new lawyers and administrative staff to expand. They are looking for a Marketing & Business Development Executive to support and work with management and administrative staff and/or interns to develop the department. Whether an experienced marketing assistant, business development manager or office administrator, they require someone who is willing to learn and train within the role. They are a friendly, busy team that work collectively together and are looking for someone to join as both a leader and team player.

They are an entrepreneurial and innovative firm, with a variety of facets confidently led by their founder who started the Female Founders Growth program who runs extensive events to help female business owners. They run surrogacy and modern family events; publish articles for the LGBTQ+ and other sectors like blockchain, drones and AI across other platforms. This role is offering a unique opportunity to develop your business development, management, marketing and networking skills in a busy practice that needs someone willing to be flexible and diverse in their approach.

Your duties will include:

 Oversee junior staff to task and prioritise their work
 Updates to the website and social media accounts.
 Liaise and set deadlines for articles, postings and updates
 Liaise with platforms over arranging articles, events and networking
 Diarise and book calls or meetings and follow up after events
 Help create and promote packages – offer creative, innovative ideas to market the firm
 Produce status reports.
 Assist with managing events before, during and after.
 Assist with script writing for podcasts
 Drafting articles for publications
 Drafting social media content
 Calling clients to arrange testimonials and follow-on work
 Oversee projects be it website changes, events or new promotions
 Attend Networking events to promote the brand
 Marketing meetings for updates, ideas and action points
 Ad-hoc tasks as required.

Experience / Requirements:

 Strong communication skills.
 Organised.
 Diligent and excellent attention to detail.
 Ability to proof-read and mark-up documents.
 Ability to comfortably liaise with clients, speakers, suppliers, both in-person and via telephone.
 Excellent interpersonal skills.
 Proactive/can-do attitude.
 Ability to prioritise workload
 Self-manage and punctual.
 Proficient use of Microsoft Office products
 Excellent command of the English language.
 Knowledge of Instagram , LinkedIn and other platforms desirable
 Ability to amend WordPress websites desirable but not essential

This role is challenging, busy and upskills you quickly. We need someone hands on and can hit the ground running.

The salary will be varied according to your skills but we offer highly preferential benefits such as above market standard annual leave , bonus and commission payments too. We need a minium of 5yr PQE but have opportunities for more senior solicitors ; partners with a following ; consultants and those looking for 3/4 days part-time.

You will have your own varied caseload and will be part of a dynamic commercial team headed by the director, with training and on-hand support and advice. The role will be busy and challenging, and for the right candidate, you are able to innovate solutions to our clients problems and enjoy variety in your work.

There is the option to work closely with other departments, including litigation, employment and family, or explore areas of law that you have an interest. We encourage business networking and various forms of marketing. Support is provided if you wish to generate your own clients.
